The Middle of Everywhere: New Writing From Floodgate Press

Birmingham based indepndent publisher Floodgate Press have just published their second e-published collection of flash fiction The Middle of Everywhere: New Writing From Floodgate Press.

All five pieces in the anthology avaliable from Floodgate Press’ website for 99p respond to prompts set by the Black Country novellist Kerry Hadley-Pryce inspired by the West Midland’s edgelands.

My short essay “to St. Kenelm’s Pass” about a walk from Halesowen, up and over the Clent Hills, appears in the collection. For more about Floodgate Press see my recent interview with them for the Walk Midlands Newsletter.

About The Middle of Everywhere

Floodgate Press is proud to present The Middle of Everywhere, our new eBook collection from writers in the British West Midlands. Responding to the prompts set by friend of the press Kerry Hadley-Pryce, here you’ll find writing from the edgelands, from the hillsides, and from the canal towpath. Five distinct voices bring you place writing, nature writing, and words from the frayed and decaying edges of our cities.

For a mere 99p you can enjoy these brief but rich slices of our region’s character. Download to your eReader now!
